The Diablo 4 beta is live and available to those with early access from Friday, March 17th at 4pm in the UK (GMT) and ends Monday, 20th March at 7pm (GMT).[0] Those who have pre-ordered the game can also access the beta over the weekend, with an open beta available to everyone starting next Friday, March 24, at 9 a.m.[1] PT and ending on March 27 at 12 p.m.[2] [3]

The beta will include the first zone, Fractured Peaks, and will allow players to play the Prologue and Act 1.[4] Players will be able to reach level 25 with their character, allowing them to experience the core gameplay and provide feedback to Blizzard for changes and fixes before the game's full launch.[5]

The Diablo 4 beta also includes exclusive rewards for players who complete set challenges.[6] Reaching level 20 with one character will unlock the “Early Voyager” title, and players who reach level 25 in the beta will have a chance to be immortalized in the La chapelle des Jesuites as part of a giant Diablo fresco.[5]

In terms of playing the game, Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 4 will have cross-play, meaning those playing on PC can join games with their friends on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.[7] In addition, the Barbarian class is a powerhouse in the game, offering players the ability to equip a selection of weapons that provide distinct bonuses to their character.[8]

This weekend, Blizzard acknowledged the prolonged wait times experienced by gamers attempting to access the Diablo 4 beta.[9] They have additionally confirmed that an issue is affecting the developer's authentication servers, which is resulting in failed or slow login attempts for some players.[10]

The minimum requirements for Diablo 4 are an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 280 graphics card, Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-8100 processor, and 8GB of RAM.
