Roku (Nasdaq: ROKU), the #1 TV streaming platform in the U.S.*, today announced the features and availability of its new Roku Select and Plus Series TVs. These 11 models, ranging from 24\u201d to 75\u201d, are the company\u2019s first-ever designed and built TVs, and are available exclusively from Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com.[0]<\/a><\/sup> The new Roku Wireless Soundbar, offering a seamless wireless complement to Roku Select and Plus TVs, will be available exclusively at Best Buy stores and online later this month.[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Roku\u2019s new Select and Plus series TVs offer a high level streaming experience at an affordable price. The HD and 4K TVs feature a continue watching functionality and a revamped account hub, where users can access a streamlined home screen, enhanced photo streams, and an expanded live TV channel \u201cguide\u201d button.<\/p>\n

In addition, Roku is partnering with Best Buy to give customers exclusive access to Roku-branded TVs and give Roku access to Best Buy\u2019s advertising platform.[2]<\/a><\/sup> This deal is a first-of-its-kind partnership between a TV streaming platform and retail media.<\/p>\n

Roku OS 12 will be automatically updated or available for download on most existing Roku streaming players, smart soundbars, and Roku TVs.[3]<\/a><\/sup> The update brings a more intuitive interface, performance improvements, and new channel additions, such as local news, golf, and additional soccer programming, including Spanish-language coverage for some leagues.[4]<\/a><\/sup> The Sports experience will also be more personalized based on location, favorite team, go-to sport, and viewing habits.[5]<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n

Roku\u2019s co-head of U.S. brand sales for Roku Media, Julian Mintz, said in a statement, \u201cWe\u2019re bringing together our entire business to build the future of entertainment and advertising \u2014 making the TV experience simpler, offering the right marketing, data, tech, and scale to drive real results, and helping win the entire streamer\u2019s journey together with Best Buy.\u201d[2]<\/a><\/sup> <\/p>\n

Prices for the Roku Select and Plus Series TVs start at $150 for the 24\u201d HDTV and go up to $320 for the 43\u201d 4KTV.[6]<\/a><\/sup> With this new update and partnership, Roku and Best Buy are sure to be a success for all involved.<\/p>\n
