Explore New Biomes and Unlock Unique Skins in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: MEGA is now live and it’s bringing with it an exciting new biome, vehicles, weapons, and more.[0] With the new season comes a neon futuristic aesthetic, a new Battle Pass, and a whole lot of content.[1] Players can explore the new MEGA City POI and traverse the environment with new vehicles, traversal mechanics, and the new Kinetic Blade.
The Battle Pass for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is available now and brings with it a variety of different skins.[2] Players who purchase the Battle Pass will automatically unlock the “fine-tailored Renzo the Destroyer” as well as “streetwear savant” Thunder, the elegantly casual Highwire, and more original Fortnite Outfits as they progress through the season.[3] Later in the season, the Outfit for anime protagonist Eren Jaeger, in a crossover with Attack on Titan, will become available to unlock in the Battle Pass.[4]
The new weapons for Chapter 4 Season 2 include the Heisted Accelerant Shotgun (Exotic), Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle, Heavy Shotgun, Overclocked Pulse Rifle (Mythic), Sniper Surplus Reality Augment, Chug Cannon, and the Kinetic Blade. The Kinetic Blade is a brand-new melee weapon introduced in this season and comes with a quest associated with it. With the Kinetic Blade, players can perform a Knockback Slash or a Dash Attack (with three charges).[4] The Highcard’s Suppressed Havoc Assault Rifle is only available by killing the new seasonal boss Highcard who can be found near vaults across the map.[5]
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 has also introduced new vehicles, such as the Victory Crown Rogue, the Nitro Drifter four-wheel ride, and the Chug Cannon.[6] Be sure to check out the official Fortnite blog for more information on updates coming to Chapter 4 Season 2.
