Get Ready for Remnant 2: Introducing the Gunslinger Class
Remnant 2, the sequel to the 2019 game Remnant: From the Ashes, is slated for a 2023 release for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.[0] Developer Gunfire Games recently revealed the Gunslinger, one of the classes available in the game.
The Gunslinger is the master of weapon handling, fire rate, and ammo generation.[1] The Gunslinger's skill-set is designed around maximizing DPS, with perks such as Quick Draw, which unloads a hidden six-shooter and auto-targets nearby enemies, and Sidewinder which reduces the time to aim down sights and increases movement speed while aiming.[2] The Prime perk, Loaded, automatically reloads both guns when an Archetype skill is activated in a heated battle.[1]
The Gunslinger is one of several classes available in Remnant 2. Each class will have exclusive Perks and Skills, making them far more unique, and players will eventually unlock the ability to mix two Archetypes of their choice to create a unique class.[3]
Remnant 2 will also feature procedurally generated levels, making it much more replayable, and the game's cosmic horror and enemy creatures should provide a challenge for even the most experienced players.
