Dreaming of a Better Tomorrow

We all have dreams of a life where we can be everything we have ever wanted to be, where we can find solace and comfort in our beds, and where fear and dread do not exist.[0] We dream of escaping our everyday lives and being able to play with magic monkeys, cuddle up with our favorite books, and take a break from the daily grind. We dream of being able to take a nap in the middle of the day, of being able to drift off into an unconsciousness that allows us to disconnect from the world, and of being able to lay our heads on a pillow and let our bodies sink into repose.[1]

We dream of being able to walk in strange and scary places, but with a familiar hand in ours, and of being able to listen to our elders with more respect and humility than we did when we were younger. We dream of being able to travel back in time and apologize to those who are no longer with us, and of being able to hear their beautiful laughter even in their sleep.

Most of all, we dream of the bright new day, embraced in love, and ready to change the world. We dream of being able to dream of the world we will change, and then actually changing it.[1]

Dreams give us hope and courage, and allow us to believe in our own infinite possibilities. So let us take a break, and dream of a better tomorrow.
