Get Ready for the Google Pixel 7a: Major Upgrade Over Pixel 6a & Set to Debut at Google I/O
The Google Pixel 7a is expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Google I/O 2023 event.[0] Ahead of the launch, a tipster has leaked hands-on images of the device, along with specs.[1] The Pixel 7a appears to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Pixel 6a, with the latest leak suggesting it will feature a 6.1-inch fullHD+ 90Hz OLED display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a Tensor G2 processor.[0] It will also have 5W wireless charging support and a dual-lens camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX787 main sensor and a 12MP ultra-wide unit.[0]
The Pixel 7a is expected to offer a great balance of performance, features, and price.[0] It may be a threat to sales of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8, but we will have to wait and see what it actually offers.[2] The last-gen Pixel 6a was one of the best budget Android phones of 2022, and we are expecting the same from this upcoming device.[3] The Pixel 7a could offer a major upgrade over the Pixel 6a, with its Tensor G2 processor, 5W wireless charging, and a dual-camera setup.[4] It could be a great all-rounder device if Google prices it appropriately.
