OnePlus Unveils Nord Buds 2 and Nord CE 3 Lite: Premium Features at an Affordable Price Point
OnePlus, known for delivering premium features at an affordable price point, has released their latest product, the Nord Buds 2. This new release builds on the success of last year's Nord Buds, offering a range of features typically not found in budget true wireless earbuds. The Nord Buds 2 boast Active Noise Cancelation (ANC) and an impressive 12.4 mm driver unit, all for a price tag of only $59.
Alongside the Nord Buds 2, OnePlus has also announced the Nord CE 3 Lite, a follow-up to last year’s OnePlus Nord Buds.[0] This new phone comes equipped with a 6.72-inch 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display with DC Dimming support. The internals of the phone consist of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage.[1] The phone also features a 5,000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC charging support via USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.[2] The Nord CE 3 Lite boasts a 108MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro shooter, with a 16MP selfie camera.[2]
The Nord Buds 2 come with an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, Fast Pair support with OnePlus devices, Bluetooth 5.3, and support for the AAC codec, as well as Dolby Atmos.[3] The battery life of the Nord Buds 2 is impressive, lasting up to 7 hours without the case and 36 hours with the charging case.
With ANC enabled, OnePlus guarantees a maximum of 5 hours of playback time, while without ANC, it can last up to 7 hours.[4] When the charging case's battery is combined, the overall battery life can stretch up to 36 hours (if the ANC is switched off). The Nord Buds 2 support fast charging via USB-C, and it should give you about five hours of playtime (with ANC disabled) in only ten minutes of charging.[5]
The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 feature a 12.4mm extra-large driver unit, Adaptive Noise Cancelation, and Master Equalization for an intuitive listening experience.[3] The BassWave Enhancement technology improves the bass response, while the Master Equalization features several modes, including Balanced, Serenade, Bass, and Bold, allowing users to choose the level of sound quality they want to highlight.[6] The Nord Buds 2 were designed in collaboration with Dolby Atmos technology that amplifies its mobile phone speakers and Dirac Audio Tuner for smoother performance with higher fidelity, especially when connected to a OnePlus device.[6]
Both the Nord Buds 2 and Nord CE 3 Lite are available for purchase in North America, Europe, and India. It is impressive to see OnePlus continue to deliver premium features at an affordable price point, and these latest releases are a testament to the company's dedication to their customers.[3]
